Flattening the pasta went quite well, it was when I went to cut into linguini or fettuccine is where the problems began.

  • I made homemade pasta this morning. Simply and small portion.
    (1 cup) all purpose flour
    (3/4 cup) semolina flour
    (2 large) eggs
    (1 Tbsp) olive oil
    (1/2 Tsp) sea salt
I gave the ingredients so it may help answer my next question.
When I went to make the spaghetti, the pasta was getting stuck in the pasta machine.
I let it sit for 10 minutes before going into cutter.

    Why does this happen?

  • Thank you. I watched the video. Italian grandmothers are the best!!! Thank you again. Until I get more pasta experience, this will be a weekend attempt.

  • Hello everyone. I have my 1st pasta maker and I was looking for a 1st time pasta recipe that will not make 5 pounds of pasta. Growing up in an Italian family for some reason we cooked just in case 14 extra people would show up unannounced.

Any tips would be very welcomed also.

    Thank you!!!
