Flattening the pasta went quite well, it was when I went to cut into linguini or fettuccine is where the problems began.

I made homemade pasta this morning. Simply and small portion.
(1 cup) all purpose flour
(3/4 cup) semolina flour
(2 large) eggs
(1 Tbsp) olive oil
(1/2 Tsp) sea salt
I gave the ingredients so it may help answer my next question.
When I went to make the spaghetti, the pasta was getting stuck in the pasta machine.

rossella rago Two large eggs may have made the dough too soft and sticky for the cutters. try adding some semolina or flour on the pasta sheet before you pass it thru the machine. 8 years ago

Hello everyone. I have my 1st pasta maker and I was looking for a 1st time pasta recipe that will not make 5 pounds of pasta. Growing up in an Italian family for some reason we cooked just in case 14 extra people would show up unannounced.

Any tips would be very welcomed also.
