Apricots of the Caliph - History say that this was the preferred dessert of a Caliph from North Africa. your social media marketing partner
  • 24 Dried apricots
  • Black tea
  • 24 Tsp - Pistacchio nuts finely chrushed
  • 10 Peaches in syrup
  • 24 Tsp - Pastry cream (any cream recipe will do as long as the cream is rather soft)
  • Powdered sugar your social media marketing partner
  1. Place the apricots in a bowl and completely cover them with lukewarm black tea. Leave them to soak for  3-4 hours.
  2. Put the peaches in a blender and liquefy them.
  3. Pass the liquified peaches through a sieve to obtain a smooth peach cream.
  4. Put a layer of peach cream on each serving plate.
  5. Place the butterflied apricots on the plate. Add on each apricot a spoonful of custard cream and crunched pistacchio nuts.
  6. Garnish with powedered sugar. your social media marketing partner
