Chocolate Hazelnut Cake with Strawberries

Hazelnut flavored Nutella adds a really delicious taste to this cake. your social media marketing partner
  • 1 Devils Food Cake Mix (made with ingredients on box)
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup nutella spread
  • 10 ounces marscapone cheese
  • 3/4 c powder sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp Fra Angelico liquer
  • Additional nutella to spread on cake
  • 1/2 pind fresh strawberries

  1. Bake the cake in 9 inch layer cake pan according to directions on the box.
  2. Allow to cool completely.
  3. Make the frosting and filling:
  4. Beat the whipping cream until soft peaks form.
  5. Add the vanilla, marscapone cheese, powdered sugar, liquer, and nutella.
  6. Beat until it gets stiff peaks.
  7. Assemble the Cake:
  8. Put the first layer of the cake on serving plate
  9. Spread softened nutella, about 4 Tablespoons , on the cake. (10 seconds in microwave will make it easier to spread)
  10. sllice strawberries and lay on the nutella
  11. Spread frosting/filling over the strawberries
  12. Put the second layer of cake on top of first.
  13. Spread the top of the cake with softened nutella
  14. Frost with remaining frosting and garnish with nutella dipped strawberries. your social media marketing partner
