Roasted Sausage with Broccoli & Potatoes


For the Sausage:

  • 1 pound sweet or hot Italian sausage
  • 1 head broccoli, washed and cut into bite sized pieces
  • 2 pounds potatoes, cut into 2 inch chunks or wedges. You can use any potatoes you like, but I love red potatoes or Yukon gold. If you use red potatoes you can leave the skin on.
  • 0.5 cup extra virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons oragano
  • 2 tablespoons plain breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons grated Pecorino Romano or grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese


Preheat your oven to 425 degrees
Add all the ingredients to a baking sheet and give them a quick stir with a spoon or with your hands to make sure everything is well coated.
Give the pan another quick drizzle of oil and place the pan in the oven.
Roast for 40 minutes, turning everything halfway through.
