Cooking at Masseria Torre Coccaro

Continuing on my trip in Puglia, we spent a lovely day at Masseria Torre Coccaro in Fasano (Brindisi). This masseria is absolutely a 5 star resort. Everything about it is just beautiful: the architecture, the grounds, the people. While we were there we had such a wonderful time in their kitchen where chef Massimo Massaro thought us how to make fresh pasta, panzerotti and a Tiella of Riso, Patate e Cozze that was just to die for. It was actually so good that two days later I went back to the masseria and together with Massaia Liberata (Nonna Liberata) I shot a full Cooking with Nonna show exclusively on how to make the best Tiella of Riso Patate e Cozze. I can't wait to show it to you... we had so much fun with Nonna Liberata. We first went to the  outdoor market tin town o buy the freshest cozze (mussels) and all the other ingredients and then back to the masseria to cook everything. The experience at the market was just unbelievable. The interaction with the vendors was a shoe in itself. So stay tuned and soon I will have the show for you.

In the meantime, enjoy these photos from our cooking experience at Masseria Torre Coccaro. {morfeo 30}
