I'm half Italian and half Norwegian and I learned to cook mainly from my mother and maternal grandmother. I used to love to watch my grandmother make her own sausages and zeppoles. I was born in Brooklyn, but raised in Ozone Park, Queens. Now I'm living in Brooklyn again.
