Hi. Raspberry Almond Thumb cookies. The only change I made was not using zest and using lemon juice. (per Google substitute). Cookies were not the same consistency at all. Was there supposed to be any baking soda/baking powder in the recipe?

You cannot substitute lemon zest with lemon juice as the juice make the sough softer. The dough needs to be firm and cold.
