About meI was born in Westchester county NY and grew up as any young Italian did. Sunday Gravy/Sauce for dinner. (Always at 3:00pm) The seven fishes on Christmas Eve (La Vigilia di Natale) Easter pie and Easter bread and roosted lamb on Easter (Pasqua) My family would come together for almost any occasion and we traveled in packs. There was never just one of us there were all of us. I was raised Predominantly by the women of my familily (momma, zia, nonna and bisnonna) My bisnonna, nonna and I are were excspacaly close and bisnonna being the matriarch of the family had all the holidays at her house. Up until bisnonna’s passing taught me all her recipes witch I now share with my family and my boyfriend’s family. So I suppose I’m a nonno in training
