2 eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup persimmon pulp
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup raisins (white or black)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Oil a 9 x 4 inch pan.
In a small bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, salt, nuts, and raisins.
In a large bowl, blend eggs, sugar, and oil. Mix baking soda into pulp, and add to sugar mixture. Fold in flour mixture. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 75 minutes, or until tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Show more

Keep in mind, regardless of the outcome of the upcoming election, there is still one fiscal year left under Obama's watch(FY2013 belongs to him.), we are in it deep. The President has already stated that there is nothing for us to worry about-short term. No-maybe not but what the heck is going down the road? Doesn't look or feel good.
