i am a retired chef. my main venue for most of my career was catering but i also worked restaurant & hotel kitchens. My first teacher in the culinary field was my grandmother who would always give me a hunk of bread dough to slam around with her from the time i was 2 or 3. so while i'm expert in the field...i can also "cook like Nonna" ...that's who taught me the most.
