I'm a 2nd generation Italian American. My maternal grandparents are from the Naples area (Avellino) and my paternal grandparents are from Calabria. Even though my grandparents have passed, we still get together every Sunday for family dinners. I come from a close knit family and love our Italian/American traditions. I have family that still live in Italy who we are lucky enough to see from time to time.
