My 80 year old Italian mother grew up in Bensonhurst. She has lived in Texas (along with the rest of us) for many years but some of my best childhood memories are set in my great-grandparents basement apartment eating everything from squash blossoms and dandelion greens, to homemade ravioli, lasagne, etc. My uncle still makes ravioli from scratch every Christmas Eve. I love your website! It brings back memories of my childhood and my beloved family.
