Hi, I come from an Italian family and we had an Italian deli/market located in Maryland. My Nonna started it many many years ago and i grew up in the business. My first position was the cheese grater,standing on a box and grating big tubs of cheese to be sold. I loved working there and that is where I learned to cook, make pasta, and learned that cooking is an art from your heart. My familys origin is Sammichele di Bari so I am very happy to watch your shows and use you recipes.
