Buon giornata, I went to a private Italian high school with both Italian and Sicilian students. While there I was educated on the major usual subjects and seven more. I also learned from my best Friends the Sicilian and Italian languages. I later was taught how to write Italiano and Siciliano, and I must say, once I received the hang of it, not only was it fun, but I made tons of friends in the bargain, and it got easier. The two best parts of this were when some of my best friends would take me to their homes during spring and winter breaks, and from there I would be taught by their Mothers, Aunts, Sisters, Uncles, Godmothers, GodFathers, Cousins, Best Friends and Friends how to prepare numerous and different Italiano and Siciliano dishes, casseroles and entrees. The second was the art of chess, my Father taught me the art of chess when I was approximately five years old. I played in my tournament when I was 19 and won 3rd prize. Today, known as "Catfish Vinnie" for the numerous winnings of catfish tournaments, I as well prepare numerous catfish dishes, mostly a nice il pesce gatto spezzatino on Friday. On weekends I'm normally in a Chess Hall or Club in a Match or Tournament, or a Catfish Tournament. When in Chess Matches and Tournaments, the one item there is... in the rear of the hall or club are numerous tables with both Italiano and Siciliano foods of all types on them, and I must say they are enough to compel you to lose anything. Lol! In that school, I practically learned how to live an Italiano and Siciliano life. To date, those are the only two foods that I'll eat, Magnifico! I haven't eaten an American dinner since I was in middle school. You'll love this book!
