Baked Lemon Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients

For the Shrimp:

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted and cooled
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 lemons, juice only
  • 1 lemon. zest only
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, minced

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Drizzle the oil over a baking sheet. Set aside.
  3. Add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl and toss the shrimp making sure they’re well coated.
  4. Spread the shrimp out onto a baking sheet and cook until the shrimp are pink, about 10-12 minutes. Serve with crusty Italian bread.
