3rd generation Italian American of Abruzzian decent (both sides) Love to cook and was raised in the kitchen by my grandmothers and mother. Constantly trying to recreate their recipes now that they have past on. I believe the strongest bond an Italian girl has is with her grandmother. Although I planned to pursue a career in culinary arts, my path took me towards adolescent substance abuse and addiction recovery therapy. I now cook to relax and entertain others in order to keep my own peace and calmness as my family taught me.
