Cooking With Nonna !!! This cookbook is a Must Have for anyone who loves this website.
I made Nonna Angelina's Caponata tonight. So delicious! A big hit. Only difference was I used green olives with pimentos and left them in.Going to make it again for Christmas. My grandmother used to make this and put it in jars and was not as sweet.. She was from Mazara DelVallo. Every town makes it a little different.
sounds good Frank. I will be making my red green and white Talapia

Are you enjoying Naples? Last evening on...I'm so sorry for not responding to your message. I was just clearing old messages from my email and in my spam folder was your unread message. I'm so sorry.
Are you enjoying Naples? Last evening on the news they said that we were suppose to wake up to much cooler than normal temps. Well, I guess they were wrong again. So far the temp this morning has jumped about 6°F over the last hour and a half. Will these weatherman ever get it right? Lol
My wife Ellie and I have been eating at "Brio Tuscan Grill" in the waterside shops and find that the food is really good and they try to please you in any way that they can. Honestly, we haven't been downtown in a long time. I know there are many good restaurants there but we just hate having to deal with the crowds and heavy traffic. This evening we are going to Swan Seafood for lobster. I was going to take my wife out for dinner on Mother's Day but, I have a really bad back and was in excruciating pain. Tonight we will be celebrating Mother's Day again no matter how much pain I'm am in.
When will you be going back up north? Although the heat really bothers me in the summer, I don't think that I could ever move back to Jersey again. I've been curing meats and making cheese so the cooler weather up north would be great for aging my creations but I guess I'll just stick to using an old refrigerator as my aging cave.
Best Regards,
