Hi Rossella. First I want to say that I'm so happy your Nonna is doing well. My question is, I need to substitute almond paste in the rainbow cookies. making them nut free. What can I use in its place?

I just ordered and received both of your cookbooks. They're beautiful!!!! My mom and I can't wait to start trying your wonderful recipes. I'm Sicilian (Dad) and Calabrese (Mom). The recipes are very similar to my Nonna's also. Love your recipes. They bring back so many great memories.
