Cold Bread Salad - Cialledda
Cold Bread Salad (Cialledda)... in a hot summer refresh yourself with a cold dish!
Ingredients
For 2 Person(s)
For the Cialledda:
- 1/2 pound stale bread
- 2 large tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cucumbers, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- oregano
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- water

Directions
- Cut the bread into cubes of about 1/2 inch
- Cut the tomatoes into small slices
- Cut the cucumber into small cubes
- Chop the garlic
- Slice the onion
- Mix all together
- Add salt and oregano
- Add a generous sprinkle of EV olive oil
- Add 1 cup of water or a bit more until bread becomes uniformly moist
- Mix well and enjoy
