Deconstructed Cannoli

During my recent Culinary Tour in Sicily, in several restaurants we were served  Cannoli Scomposti, a Deconstructed Cannoli.  Same old ingredients as a traditional Cannolo but served in a very creative way that make for a beautiful presentation and fun to eat.

BTW: It also makes it easy to share!

Deconstructed Cannoli


For 2 Person(s)

For the Cannoli:

  • 1 Cup Cannoli Cream (Recipe & Video HERE)
  • 3 Large Cannoli Shells
  • Crushed Pistachio
  • Chocolate Syrup


  1. Put the Cannoli Cream in a pipimg bag and pipe the cream at the center of a serving plate in the shape of a rose.
  2. Brake the Cannoli shells longways and insert them in the creamin the design that you prefer.
  3. Garnish with crushed pistachio and chocolate syrup.
